This Privacy Policy explains how Ayoub Mouadil (micro-entreprise, SIRET 100 662 741 00014) ("Scoliax," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 35 rue de la Providence, 31500 Toulouse, France, collects, uses, and protects information when you interact with our AI receptionist service — whether by calling a phone number connected to Scoliax, using a Scoliax voice widget on a business's website, receiving a text message from Scoliax, or using the Scoliax dashboard as a business operator.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with Scoliax, we may collect:

• Caller / contact information: phone number, name, and appointment details you provide during a call, text message, or web-widget conversation.
• Call and message content: audio, transcripts, and SMS message content, processed in order to understand your request and respond to it.
• Account information: for business operators — name, email address, business details, and calendar data you connect (e.g., Google Calendar).
• Usage data: technical logs needed to operate and troubleshoot the service (e.g., call duration, delivery status of messages).

3. SMS / text messaging data

If you provide your mobile number during a phone call and verbally consent to receive text messages from Scoliax — for example, when the AI receptionist asks whether you'd like an SMS confirmation of your appointment — that number and your consent status are used solely to deliver the messages you agreed to receive.

Consent is obtained verbally, during the same phone call in which your appointment is booked, changed, or confirmed. We do not send text messages to a phone number unless the caller has verbally agreed to receive them during that call.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. SMS consent is never shared with a third party for their own marketing purposes, regardless of any other consent you may have given.

Message types you may receive: appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, and appointment change/cancellation notices. No marketing or promotional messages are sent through this program.

Message frequency varies depending on your appointment activity — typically one to two messages per booked appointment. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP, to any message you receive from us. Opting out does not affect your appointment — it only stops future text notifications; the business may still contact you by phone.

4. How we use information

• To answer calls, understand requests, and book, change, or cancel appointments.
• To send appointment confirmations and reminders you've opted in to receive.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the reliability of the service.
• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
• To comply with legal obligations.

5. Who we share information with

We use a small number of service providers to operate Scoliax, each of whom processes data only as needed to provide their service to us:

• Twilio — telephony, SMS delivery, and phone number verification.
• OpenAI — real-time voice understanding and response generation.
• Google — calendar synchronization (only if a business operator connects it).
• Email delivery provider — transactional emails (e.g., account, appointment notices).

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

6. International data transfers

Some of the service providers listed above may process data outside of your country of residence, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for these transfers.

7. Data retention

We retain call/message content and appointment data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing — including withdrawing SMS consent at any time (reply STOP). If you are located in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (e.g., the CNIL in France). 9. Children's privacy

Scoliax is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
