Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Scoliax, an AI receptionist service operated by Ayoub Mouadil (micro-entreprise, SIRET 100 662 741 00014) ("Scoliax," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 35 rue de la Providence, 31500 Toulouse, France. By using Scoliax — whether as a business operator with a Scoliax account, or as a caller/contact interacting with a business that uses Scoliax — you agree to these Terms.

2. The service

Scoliax answers phone calls and web-widget conversations on behalf of a business, using AI to understand requests and book, look up, change, or cancel appointments, and to send related SMS notifications where consented to.

3. Business operator accounts

If you create a Scoliax account to operate the service for your business, you are responsible for the accuracy of the business information you provide, for keeping your account credentials secure, and for ensuring you have the right to receive calls/texts on any phone number you connect to Scoliax.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Scoliax to:

  • Send unsolicited or unauthorized messages, or violate applicable telemarketing/messaging laws.
  • Impersonate any person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or attempt unauthorized access to it.
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

5. AI-generated responses

Scoliax uses artificial intelligence to interpret and respond to calls and messages. While we work to make responses accurate and helpful, AI-generated responses may occasionally be incorrect or incomplete. Scoliax is not a substitute for emergency services — callers with an emergency should contact local emergency services directly.

6. SMS notifications

If you verbally consent during a phone call to receive SMS notifications from Scoliax (such as appointment confirmations or reminders), the following applies:

  • Message frequency varies based on your appointment activity, typically one to two messages per booked appointment.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Consent to receive SMS notifications is not required to book an appointment by phone; SMS is an optional convenience.
  • You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Fees

Where applicable, fees for using Scoliax are described at the time of signup or in a separate order form. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

8. Termination

You may stop using Scoliax at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the service if these Terms are violated, or if reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users, or third parties.

9. Disclaimers

Scoliax is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ayoub Mouadil (micro-entreprise, SIRET 100 662 741 00014) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of revenue, data, or business, arising from your use of Scoliax.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
